Alyssa is our Historian Commissioner for the 2019-2020 leadership team, which means she is responsible for taking pictures at all events and making a scrapbook of all leadership memories for the end of the year. Along with this, she must update the Spirit Boxes in the office as well. She is currently a senior here at Ripon High, and is excited for the upcoming school year ahead. Her goal for this year is to stimulate a more inclusive environment here at Ripon High so all who step onto campus feel safe and excited to be a part of the tribe. Alyssa has been involved with many activities at Ripon High. Some of which include Leadership, Link Crew, Pride Tribe, AP classes, and CSF. She also holds a leadership position in the Multicultural Acceptance Club, Girl’s League, and Scrubs Club. Every month she dedicates time to being involved with the Ripon Vocational Leadership Academy, and loves to put on fundraisers for different charities. Her favorite fundraiser she was involved in was the neighborhood food drive the Multicultural Club put on in January to help the Salvation Army. Ultimately, she hopes to major in biomedical sciences at a 4 year university, and from there hopes to go on to medical school to pursue her passion for healing people. Outside of School she also hopes to start a nonprofit organization to help the homeless population or begin a foundation to help Alzheimer’s research.
